The racist rant of a young train passenger abusing a security guard has sparked a police investigation in Australia.

The incident has been deemed so shocking that even the prime minister, Tony Abbott, has condemned the incident.

In the video, a young man who appears to be intoxicated, can be heard responding to the security guard aster he was asked to remove his feet from a chair.

He says in response: "Learn some fucking English 'cause this is Australia c***."

Later he is seen standing up, telling the security guard "don't you fucking touch me".

The person filming the incident, which happened on 2 October, can be heard laughing throughout.

A Facebook account reported to belong to the teen posted: "I was just drunk couldn’t remember shit so stop over reacting (sic), but I am proud to be white! OWS STAND STRONG!"

Abbott said: "Just as I think it's un-Australian to defend death cults, I think it's un-Australian to abuse people in a public place just because you don't like the way they look, or you don't like the way they dress, or you make assumptions about what they believe."

A 17-year-old and an 18-year-old have been arrested and charged in relation to the incident.
