As part of its annual sex week, Harvard University will be hosting an anal sex 101 class, called "What What in the Butt".

But there's no need to fear about being bottom of the class as it's merely to promote "a holistic understanding of sex and sexuality".

Topics covered will include anal anatomy and the potential for pleasure for all genders; how to talk about it with a partner; basic preparation and hygiene; lubes, anal toys, and safer sex; anal penetration for beginners - to name a few.

The one-off class is run by local sex store "Good Vibrations", which promises to teach students the facts about "this exciting yet often misunderstood form of pleasure".

The event has hit a bum note with some students, however, who have questioned the amount of funding put into the sex week event.

According to the schedule, other classes include "Brown Girlz Do it Well: a Queer Diaspora Remix", "Fifty Shades of False: Kink, Fantasy, and Fetish" and "Losing Your (Concept of) Virginity".
