13 years after she first appeared in an ad for the brand alongside Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell joins Jourdan Dunn in the photographs captured by Mario Testino. It's the first time the two models have been shot together.
The result? Dressed in Burberry's S/S 15 trench coats (the colourful London Fashion Week show was entitled 'The Birds and The Bees,') it's got to be one of the most striking campaigns of next season.
"Naomi and Jourdan - two great British icons, two strong, beautiful women and the two perfect faces for our new campaign," Burberry's CEO Christopher Bailey told WWD.
It's not just the brand's famous coats the duo are modelling, either. Naomi and Jourdan's flawless beauty looks were created by Burberry's make up artistic consultant Wendy Rowe.
"This is a classic Burberry make up look," Rowe said. "It is all about skin with a golden radiance, complimented with a hint of peach. Eyes are subtly intensified with kohl around the waterline and lightly into the lashes to accentuate the eye shape. Lips are softly defined in a coral shade creating a warm finish to the overall look."
The ad campaign will launch around the world in January, to coincide with the launch of the new collection.
