World Book Day 2015 falls on March 5. As well as the annual panic of finding a costume at the 11th hour for this celebration of reading and favourite book characters, children can use the £1 tokens given out in nursery, primary and secondary schools to be exchanged for one of 10 (11 in Ireland) specially published World Book Day £1 Books or redeemable against any book or audio book of their choice costing £2.99 or more at a participating bookshop or book club.

The World Book Day £1 Book Token will be valid from 2nd to 29th March 2015.

As inspiration, we have books for young children, children aged three to five, tweens, and teenage boys and girls. If you're stuck for inspiration, don't miss the top 10 books as voted for by children.

We have expert advice and ideas to tempt reluctant readers, plus interviews with Charlie and Lola author Lauren Child and Horrid Henry creator Francesca Simon.

You can revisit your favourite books - and find new reads for your family - with our Kids' Book Club. If you're really lucky, don't miss your chance to win a bundle of children's books in our free competition.

Happy
- and happy reading!
