Chris Evans has become a grandfather at the grand old age of 48!
Chris made the announcement during his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show after his eldest daughter Jade gave birth at 8am this morning (Friday, January 9).
He then shared a picture of his new grandson on Twitter, along with a message congratulating his daughter Jade, 28, and her husband Callum on the arrival of their son Teddy Rupert.
"Teddy Rupert is here !!! Everyone doing brilliantly," he wrote. "Congrats to Ma & Pa, Alison and Wardy, Sandra and Gavin!"
Chris couldn't contain his excitement and after his radio show he headed out for a celebratory run, after which he tweeted:

Chris became a father to Jade when he was just 21 years old while he was engaged to her mother Alison Ward.
He then went on to marry Carol McGiffin in 1991, then former Doctor Who star Billie Piper in 2001, before marrying his current wife Natasha Shishmanian in 2007.
Chris and Natasha are parents to Noah, five, and two-year-old Eli - who are both now uncles!
