Not since Robert Redford in The Way We Were have we seen a gent wear a polo neck/roll neck so well, but that was before we checked out the latest looks on the from the Autumn/Winter 2015 men's collections.
During Paris Fashion Week Menswear, designers Raf Simons and Louis Vuitton championed the polo neck trend. At the Milan shows, it was Giorgio Armani, Ermanno Scervino, Etro and MSGM that gave it the nod.

Metallic polo necks are reigned high on the Katie Eary catwalk, J.W Anderson did two-tone styles, Pringle went for chunky knitted versions and Agi & Sam did slim-fitting.

When it comes to shopping for this winter wardrobe staple, those who can - do cashmere and team with a shearling jacket.
Those fully embracing the look (and keen to flaunt the ol' physique) - opt for a thin cotton or merino wool style, those unsure - try out a chunky, loose-fitting one for starters.
