Hundreds of music fans have taken to Twitter to share their condolences, following the death of blues legend B.B. King.

A lawyer for the blues legend confirmed his death on Friday morning, and among the many messages, are a number of posts from King’s famous collaborators and admirers.

During his 70 years in the music business, King inspired and enthralled countless fans, and there has been an outpouring of kind words following the sad news of his death.

Former Beatle Ringo Starr is among the celebrities paying tribute, as are Lenny Kravitz and Gene Simmons.

It’s not just stars from the music world who’ve taken to Twitter though, and actor Hugh Laurie and ‘Fifty Shades’ author E.L James are also among those who’ve shared messages.
