Singh Family Try Carolina Reaper Chilli Together - And Find Out Why It's The World's Hottest Pepper

Family Try The World's Hottest Pepper Together And, Surprisingly, It's Very Hot

The Singh family, who happen to run their own hot sauce company, managed to get their hands on some of the world's hottest chillis and decided to eat them on camera for our enjoyment.

Needless to say, they all realise the mistake fairly quickly. Except the oldest member of the group who seems to love every second of it.

The Carolina Reaper is officially the world's hottest pepper, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. It usually measures up to 2.2 million Scoville units, a system of measurement used to quantify spiciness. To put that in perspective, police grade pepper spray starts at 2.5 million units and a jalapeño only touches 2,500 Scoville units.

Don't try this at home.
