Ladybird's New Books Help You Deal With Everyday Adult Problems

A spoof series by Ladybird books is set to hit the shelves next month, and it's sure to be a side-splitting read.

The books, which are suitable for grown-ups, have been written by comedians Jason Hazeley and Joel Morris to celebrate Ladybird's 100th birthday.

The series is specially planned to help adults navigate and cope with the world about them. Titles include The Hipster, The Wife, Dating and Mindfulness.

All eight books come with original Ladybird artwork.

One of the writers, Jason Hazeley, tweeted an excerpt from one of the books titled 'The Hipster'.

It says: "This is a hipster. He is childless, unaccountably wealthy, and always well turned out. He likes art, porridge, scarves, and anything reclaimed from French factories, like this dog rack."

Josh Weinstein, writer for The Simpsons, says the book is "laugh out loud hilarious".

The books will be available to buy from 19 November 2015, priced at £6.99 each.
