NASA Celebrates 15 Years Of Humans Living On The International Space Station

Astronauts and space agencies alike have been heading to social media to help celebrate the fact that human beings have been living on the International Space Station for 15 years.

Travelling at a speed of around 17,150 miles per hour, the ISS has been home to over 200 astronauts since it was first officially put into active service.

Since then it has been a witness to some of the most earth-changing events of the last 100 years from the tragedy of 9/11 to the huge forest fires that have started to become increasingly prevalent as our climate changes.
