It’s been four years since Adele released her last album, ‘21’, and in that time she’s settled down with her partner, Simon Konecki, and given birth to their son, Angelo.

However, one week before the release of her upcoming album, ‘25’, Adele has made it clear that fans shouldn’t be expecting to hear any new material based on her experiences as a mother.

“Also, all my fans aren’t parents, so they wouldn’t want to listen to that.”

Adele has previously spoken about how ‘25’ was influenced by Madonna’s 1997 album, ‘Ray Of Light’, which was the first she recorded after becoming a mother.

During her revealing interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the ‘Rolling In The Deep’ singer said: "I was so all over the place after having a child, just because my chemicals were just hitting the fucking roof and shit like that.

"I was just drifting away, and I couldn't find that many examples for myself where I was like, 'F**k, they truly came back to themselves,' until someone was like, 'Well, obviously, ‘Ray of Light’'."

Adele’s third album, ‘25’, will be released worldwide on Friday, 20 November.
