A thread on the AskReddit forum recently asked users to reel off their best insults that don't contain profanity, and in the spirit of the festive season it makes for some lovely family-safe holiday fun.

And since the dinner table can get a bit aggressive at this time of year, it's good to have a few scathing retorts in your back pocket.
