The lights may only just have gone out on the Pyramid Stage, but attention has already turned to next year's Glastonbury, and who will headline the 2017 festival.

While there's a long wait ahead until Michael and Emily Eavis officially announce who will follow in the footsteps of this year's headliners Muse, Adele and Coldplay, bookies have already named who they predict will top the bill.

The early favourites to land one of the coveted slots are legendary rock band Guns N' Roses, who William Hill have pegged at 8/11.

Kasabian are second favourites at 5/4, despite having only headlined on the Pyramid Stage as recently as 2014.

Radiohead and the recently-reformed Stone Roses are also looking like hot tips too, with joint odds of 2/1.

Foo Fighters could also return to the stage after having to pull out of their headline slot in 2015, after Dave Grohl broke his leg, and are now 3/1 to play Worthy Farm in 2017.

A spokesperson for William Hill said: “After yet another successful Glastonbury, all thoughts will already be turning towards 2017’s festival and it looks likely that a couple of recently reformed bands – Guns N’ Roses and The Stone Roses – may be headlining the Pyramid Stage next summer.”
