Freerunner, gymnast and Hollywood stuntman Damien Walters has blind backflipped over a Formula E racing car in a 'Leap of Faith' that will have you squirming in your seat.

The stunt was carried out because, well why not, but also as part of a campaign to promote the new electric racing series.

Walters is no stranger to performing ludicrous stunts having appeared in films like Assassin's Creed and Captain America.

This time however there were no safety wires, just a very aerodynamically-friendly electric sports car moving at 60mph towards a Walters who was facing the other way.

If you're really in the mood for a scaring then you actually check out the whole thing in 360-degrees via YouTube as well.

Normally when it comes to stunts the phrasing goes: 'Don't try this at home'

Thankfully for you (and us) the chances that you have a state-of-the-art Formula E racing car lying around are relatively slim.
