Giant Jubilee Wrap - Sea Containers House

Since the Tower itself was built river fronting property has always been some of the most sought after in the capital. SeaContainers House is no exception, and situated just next to Oxo tower it shares some of the best views up and down the river. This weekend though the building, like the rest of us is paying homage to Her Majesty with the largest picture of the 1977 Jubilee ever seen.

This weekend though the building, like the rest of us is paying homage to Her Majesty with the largest picture of the 1977 Jubilee ever seen.

Covering the entire front of SeaContainers, which will house the new Mondrian London Hotel from the Morgans hotel group opening in 2014, the building wrap provides a stunning backdrop for the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant. The hotel and the offices will be designed by Tom Dixon, one of London's best interior designers and architects.

Putting up the wrap was no mean feat and took a whole week, but was brilliantly captured on timelapse video. Have a look at Tom Dixon talking about the SeaContainers and Mondrian, then see the Queen and family being unfurled down one of London's landmarks.

Wonder if she'll give herself a wave as she sails past?
