Emma Thomas is Chief Executive of YouthNet, the UK’s first online charity, set up in 1995 by broadcaster Martyn Lewis to provide accessible information, advice and support to 16 to 25 year-olds.
Since then, YouthNet has led the way in meeting young people’s needs through the adoption of new technology and has grown to run two major websites: TheSite.org, an online guide to life
for 16 to 25 year-olds and Do-it, the UK’s leading volunteering website.
