Writes to raise awareness about ME and dispel the ignorance that shrouds it (https://isabelwalter.me)

Isabel was working as a university researcher when she fell sick with ME in 2007. The illness ended her academic career and as her health has declined, she has become more and more disabled, both physically and intellectually. Since 2013 she has been bed bound and virtually unable to read, write, watch TV, use a computer or hold a conversation. Pre-ME, she wrote numerous research articles and reports, co-authored 'Using Evidence' (Policy Press, 2007), a book about implementing evidence-based policy and practice, and also published short fiction. When she's well enough, she now writes about the 360 degree disability of her illness to raise awareness about ME and dispel the ignorance that shrouds it: https://isabelwalter.me
