PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Lady Gaga is to release a book of photographs with fashion photographer Terry Richardson.

Grand Central Publishing announced that it will issue the book, titled Lady Gaga, on November 22.

The company said it will include more than 350 colour and black-and-white photographs of the eccentric pop star.

Richardson followed the singer for 10 months between August 2010 and February 2011. That time period includes Gaga's Monster Ball tour and the recording of her album Born This Way.

Lady Gaga will write the book's foreword.

On Thursday the pop star surpassed 12 million followers on Twitter.

Some of her outfits are pleasing to see. Others, like the one shown here, are just plain goofy and do not, in my opinion, do much to advance her image. As for the forthcoming book, I could not care less about that. Anyone can do that. Not everyone can get accepted to Julliard at the age of 11, however, and that is why she continues to earn my respect, goofy outfits notwithstanding. I simply attribute those errors in judgment to youth.
