Patrick Mercer Calls David Cameron An 'Arse' And A 'Despicable Creature'

Patrick Mercer

A Sunday newspaper has reported that Conservative MP Patrick Mercer has unleashed an extraordinary attack on David Cameron, branding the prime minister "an arse".

The Newark MP is reported to have described his party leader as "the worst politician in British history since William Gladstone."

An article published in the Sunday People reports the former army officer as saying of Cameron: "He's a most despicable creature without any redeeming features. If I can think of one...he's very rich."

The quotes tweeted by the Sunday People's political columnist Nigel Nelson also report Mercer as saying he would "take a beggar off the streets rather than have Cameron" and "Cameron is an arse. I loathe him."

And asked by party guest where Cameron went wrong Mercer is said to have replied: "He was born."

But according to Conservative Home, Mercer strongly denies that he made the remarks, which are reported to have been recorded on an iPhone.

However on Sunday evening he was asked to confirm or deny whether he'd made the comments on BBC Radio 5 Live. The MP refused to say either way. His only comment to John Pienaar was that he wasn't going to discuss the matter.

I think Mr Mercer speaks for millions of us...Cameron is a despicable creature and not fit for high office.

May be its time for us all to send a pack of toilet rolls to Number 10? Just think how many Post Office Vans would be delivering the Millions of Andrex?? I am sure this would be better in sending our messages across other than Signing a Petition!!!

May be we should all buy a pack of Toilet Rolls and send them to Number 10??? Would love to see the faces of the MP's when the Post Vans arrive with millions of T Rolls on board!

He claimed to be ONE of the COMMON PEOPLE, all in this together, and it has been proven by one of his own, that he is commoner than the people, common as MUCK????

This is very silly for a Tory MP to say and not accurate bringing Gladstone into it why not Ted Heath? He has obviously been reading John Harris's new book on the history of the Conservative Party who thought the present occupants of Downing Street were not very intelligent. Why commit political suicide?

i would have to go a little further than saying cameron was born,he breathes air.

he has the cheek to say other regimes are dictators and were never voted in.
ive got news for cameron,he wasnt voted in either,
and as for his sappy side kick on a lead, just what can one say except thank goodness they will
both be on their bikes at the next election.

I bet he won't do anything about it though so that makes him even worse. He knows how things are but won't do anything about it. None of them have the spine to come out and say what wants saying. What a load of weak kneed ******* they are.

Its a shame this man has no back bone and stood by his statement which I think most of us would agree with.

A tory I can agree with - at least at face value.

Cameron is a waste of space in every concievable way. Ignorant, out of touch, overprivileged, unintellectual, a hypocite and a liar.

The destruction of the NHS which was once literally the envy of the world, and which is now being systematically destroyed, is just the first of the issues that makes this man a loathsome creature. This Prime Minister who with his henchman Ian Duncan Smith at the DWP and it's parasitical infection known as ATOS, are of course leading the charge against the sick and disabled - not in truth because of high levels of fraud (0.5% is not exactly high - and thats from the DWP itself), or because of the deficit (the cuts here will make little difference especially when you consider what money has been tossed away elsewhere) - no - it is entirely an attempt to get rid of the welfare system that the Tories never wanted in the first place, and of course allowing their corporate friends to make more money off of an already overburdoned population. Lets put it this way - recent advertisment crusades by AVIVA and others, for various forms of private disability and unemployment insurance are no coincidence. One of the more supremely contemptible aspects to all this is however the fact the multi-millionaire David Cameron claimed Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for his disabled son, not to mention other benefits and even the free nappies he was 'entitled

Unfortunately, you can't embarrass public schoolboy Thatcherite ankle biters. Silver tongued liars and cheats are now in power and will continue to blame the Labour Part for all their cock-ups as they have done over the past 18 months. Now that youth unemployment has hit a new high, it's now the fault of all the problems in Europe and so it goes on. With most of the BBC news programs sounding like Tory Party Election campaigns and 80% of the country's media being Tory owned, be prepared for more of the same until you get a proper electoral system operating in this country.

Alas, Mercer got it wrong, Camorn was not born, just hatched on the toilet wall, well ok, not really but almost. His father should have done what he should, retire.
