Dreadful disgraceful neglegence which ought to be rewarded with an appropriate and balanced punishment, which unfortunately will never happen due to current misplaced society view of the death penalty... other than that the captain ought to be put in a locked room with a pistol, poison or electric cable and persuaded to do the right thing.. !!!

IT IS A PITY THAT THE REMOVAL OF THE TWO THOUSAND TONS OF FUEL OIL COULD NOT
HAVE STARTED AT THE SAME TIME THAT THE SHIP WAS BEING SEARCHED FOR ANY OF
THE MISSING THIRTY OR SO PEOPLE.
THEN THAT VERY BRAVE HERO THE PURSER WOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND A LOT EARLIER.
AND NOT GAVE HAD TO SUFFER OVER THREE DAYS IN FREEZING WATER WITH A BROKEN LEG.
I KNOW THAT EXPLOSIVE CHARGES HAD TO BE USED TO OPEN UP THE AREAS THAT THE DIVERS COULD NOT GET INTO BUT THE DUTCH SALVAGE COMPANY WOULD HAVE
STOPPED PUMPING OUT THE FUEL TO LET THAT HAPPEN.
LET US HOPE THAT THE REEF AND ALL OF THE WATERS AROUND THESE ISLANDS RECOVER IN TIME FROM THIS DISASTER.

Nope. They sure as heck don't have proof readers. I've offered my services but I don't think they can afford me!
