'Road Rage' Stab Victim Named

A man stabbed to death in a suspected road rage attack has been named by police.

Marc Clarke, 42, was taken to hospital following the incident in Bebington, Wirral, yesterday afternoon but later died.

A post-mortem examination showed Mr Clarke, of Bebington, died from multiple stab wounds.

According to local reports, two vehicles had been involved in a collision in Teehey Lane shortly before an altercation at the scene just after 3pm.

The incident took place in a built-up area and police believe several witnesses may have captured the circumstances on their mobile phones.

A 42-year-old man from Birkenhead was arrested in connection with the stabbing and remains in custody.
