YouPorn Passwords And Emails Exposed

We've all been told not to use the same password for everything we do online. Now YouPorn users have learned the hard way just how important online security hygiene is.
The sloppy security habits of YouPorn users have come back to haunt them, as their email addresses and passwords were revealed.
A publicly accessible server is to blame for revealing the lists of private data.
Internet security firm Sophos reporting that the data has been exposed since 2007.
Not only does this security breach leave YouPorn red-faced, it's lesson in having alternate passwords that member will have to learn the hard way.
The implication is that with the email address and password, a sloppy YouPorn fan that doesn't alternate passwords for difference accounts could have any other online account, like PayPal, online banking, their work access or Facebook breached.
Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos, said "If you're still using the same password on multiple sites, this rather embarrassing lesson should act as a warning."
"When users sign up for an online account, they have very little guarantee about the protection of their account information. It's therefore essential that users use different, hard to guess passwords for every online account so that if their details are published online, hackers can't use them to access other sites where they may be able to cause considerable financial damage.
Your wife or husband finding out you've been done over a by a YouPorn hack is the least of your worries, says Cluley. "Spouses or employers finding out that people have accounts for this adult site could be the least of users' worries. If you have an account and you know that your password is now known, change it now!"
