Sonisphere Festival has reportedly been cancelled.
The news broke after headliners Queen let it slip that the big summer event was no more on their website on Wednesday.
The post, which read: "It is with very heavy hearts and much regret that we announce the cancellation of Sonisphere Knebworth 2012", was removed hours later.
Organisers are expected to officially announce the cancellation by the end of the week.
As well as Queen, featuring Adam Lambert, the Knebworth Park festival was scheduled to include sets by Faith No More, The Darkness, Evanescence, Kiss and Marilyn Manson
