Owls That Look Like Roy Hodgson (PHOTOS)

What's fluffy, feathered and lives on a diet of live mice? Why, the new England manager, of course!

Yes, no sooner had Roy Hodgson been given the England job than a new internet meme had started. That meme being: 'Doesn't he look a bit like an owl?'.

And while it may not be Otters Who Look Like Benedict Cumberbatch, we do think the pictures below (courtesy of Buzzfeed, and ourselves) are still jolly good, fluffy fun.

Congratulations on the new job, Roy. Just make sure you don't ruffle any feathers.

The only thing I know about football is that owls have more brains than turnips. We shall just have to make the best of it. Bit of an uphill struggle though, considering they have to play with the wrong-shaped ball!

Does anyone care about the owls?
This sort of abuse is unnacceptable when innocent creatures are singled out.
As a species they will show their superior intellect by only attending Englands evening matches.

The physical brain of the higher vertebrates in the animal kingdom is essentially the same in physical form, design & constituency as the human brain. This might be an answer.

We had in the past different names "Turnip Head " and the like for our England Managers, an now of course other derogatory Names for our New Manager "Roy Hodgson" Why has some people Always got take the P***, Give others a chance. Lets judge Roy and our Footballers after, and stop this "Name Calling" Its Childish, Pathetic, and a great way to teach our Children RESPECT for Othes and Elders...These so called Overpaid footballers already are screaming "RESPECT" us , How can we when we call people names like this. Its the beginnings of bullying.Stop it NOW

Why is this the only Hodgson story to have a comments spot below... all the others were closed and I'm sure would readers would have liked the chance to say what they think about leaving the obvious choice of Harry Rednap out!

You could have continued there- And made a valid opinion regarding Redknapp count.

Is Bernstein J8wish? ...Cabal comes to mind.
Is Hodgson J8wish? ....I think he is
Is the Executive Chairman of Spurs J&wish... Yes, he is and I'm sure he doesn't want to loose Rednap.
Is Seb Blatter J&wish? it's all in the name.

I Don't think Rednap is J&wish.
