Racing driver Lewis Hamilton's partying ways have screeched to a halt - he's pleading for forgiveness from girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger following a reported champagne fuelled night out with a group of girls.
The Formula 1 star is said to have invited a bevvy of beauties back to his £3,800-a-night penthouse in London for a late night party - enraging the Pussycat Dolls beauty, who is said to be "angry and embarrassed" by her on-off boyfriend's behaviour.
However, she is said to be ready to forgive Lewis as long as he puts the brakes on his wild ways.
A friend tells The Sun: "They are not breaking up, both are committed to making the relationship work. Nicole was very upset Lewis allowed himself to be put in such a position - because he should know what people would say. But she accepts nothing happened."
Lewis' life has been in a spin recently - he was also forced to explain himself after he was spotted kissing a mystery woman earlier this week.
However, he insisted he was simply saying goodbye to the couple's good friend Phreeda Sharpe.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "Phreeda is like my sister, a good mate to me (and) Nicole. Can't say goodbye 2 (sic) friends without it being seen as a mystery kiss. Next time may have 2 shake hands!! Madness!"
