Virtual reality is like 3D movies - while it's been around before, it's ripe for a come back. But this time done right.

Now a new video posted to YouTube appears to show what that might really look like.

Using a £2,500 off-the-shelf set of sensors, it allows a gamer's body position to be tracked in almost perfect detail.

Combined with a Sony VR headset, it makes for what looks like a totally immersive experience with 1:1 movement.
