Your mission Boris, if you choose to accept it, is to turn up at the Conservative Party conference and not completely steal the limelight from the prime minister.

The Mayor of London was welcomed to the Birmingham convention centre on Monday evening with an "Olympotastic" rally in his honour. As he shuffled through the cheering crowd the 'Mission Imborisable' video played out on a large screen.

Created for the Conservative Home website which hosted the event, it shows (ahem) Boris cycling through London and celebrates his victory over Ken Livingstone: "The politician that Tony Blair couldn't beat".

This webpage will self destruct in five second.
