Only in Westminster could we see this man being considered by a Labour Leader as a replacement Chancellor! They gave him credit for Nationalising Northern Rock and Bailing out the Banks--For God's sake, he and Brown presided over the Downfall of the Banks in the first place, and he Bailed them out with OUR Money. Call me Old Fashioned, but I didn't owe the Banks a Penny, never have, but my Tax was, and is being used to bail them out due to Brown and Darlings' incompetence, whilst at the same time, the Tories were calling for even less controls on the Banks!
Now Mr. Darling, with this record, has the damn cheek to be heading up the 'Bitter Together Campaign' to keep Scotland under Westminster control! The man has no shame, keep him and give him a big pension and his £300 a Day with the rest of the 'has-beens' in the Lords. But we here in Scotland don't want any part of it!

Oh surely not ,whats the country going to do without him ,if we get into financial difficulty.
