There are an array of films that feature ridiculous inventions, and 'Movie 43' brings its own to the table. In the film we are presented with the iBabe, which is an mp3 player in the shape of a full-sized naked woman. So there you go.
Your guess is as good as mine when it comes to what this film is really all about. IMDB has it as... "A series of interconnected short films follows three kids as they search the depths of the Internet to find the most banned movie in the world."
But 'Movie 43' boasts an all-star cast including the likes of Alec Baldwin, Stephen Merchant, Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman, Gerard Butler, Jamie Foxx... how DID they persuade all these luminaries?
So, to celebrate the arrival next week of 'Movie 43' in UK cinemas, here's a quick run through of some of the more unlikely inventions to come into our lives, courtesy of the big screen. Which one of these devices could you do with in real life, and how does the iBabe compare? (BE WARNED: THE 'MOVIE 43' TRAILER MAKES FOR SOMEWHAT ADULT VIEWING... AND POSSIBLY NSFW EITHER)
'Movie 43' is out on 25 January - you can find out more on its dedicated Facebook page here.
