Barack Obama was formally sworn in for a second term as America's 44th president on Monday in front of hundreds of thousands of people in Washington DC.

Judging by the increase in grey hairs atop Obama's presidential head, it can safely be assumed he feels he has worked hard over the four years of his first term.

With this in mind perhaps it would not being doing the great man justice to try and condense it down to just 120 seconds.

Oh well, the folks at the Daily Beast have already done it and have managed to produce quite a touching clip.

From inauguration to inauguration via Iraq, Bin Laden, Sandy Hook and more.
