Kenny Sansom, Former Arsenal And England Defender, Homeless

'I'm A Drunk And Homeless'

Kenny Sansom, the former Arsenal and England defender, has revealed he is homeless.

Sansom, 54, is England's second most capped full-back having played 86 times for his country, but says alcohol problems have resulted in him sleeping on a park bench.

"I've been living homeless for 10 days," he told the Sun.

"That's because I've got no money, I'm a drunk, I'm feeling not very well and I'm a gambler. I've been living on the street. It's not good living on the bench."

Sansom briefly stayed with his elder sister but is living rough and has been drinking seven bottles of rosé wine a day.

He is divorced from wife Elaine and has sold most of his England caps due to his his descent into alcoholism.
