Every parent thinks their baby is beautiful, right? Well, not the parent who thinks their child looks like Gollum!
Mums and dads from across the country have been entering their babies in a celebrity look-a-like competition.
Finalists include tots who look like Elton John, Mr T, Britain's Got Talent Star Susan Boyle – and the sly, slimy creature from Lord of the Rings, Gollum.
Some parents have dressed their kids up, with a beehived mini "Amy Winehouse" and a guitar-strumming "Kurt Cobain".
There's also a Phil Mitchell, which seems like cheating. Most newborns look like Phil Mitchell.
Other finalists include former spice girls Mel B and Emma Bunton, and Tom Cruise's daughter Suri.
This is a brilliant idea. It's always fun to mock strange-looking babies.
Although I do feel a bit sorry for the kid who's got to go through the rest of his life being told "you looked like Gollum when you were a baby".
My husband reckons his niece looked like Shrek when she was tiny. One of my friends thought her baby looked like Verne Troyer (Mini-Me from Austin Powers) when he was born.
They didn't enter the children in national competitions. But maybe that was just because they hadn't thought of it...
The "Celebritots" competition attracted hundreds of entries and is hosted by BabyTV, a 24-hour, advert-free channel for babies, toddlers and parents.
Judges from BabyTV and babyworld.co.uk will announce an overall winner from the ten finalists later in July, with the winning parents receiving a cheque for £500 and the chance for their little lookalike to be featured on BabyTV.
If you missed out on this competition, all is not lost. Does your baby look like someone famous? Send your pictures to parentdishUK@googlemail.com
