Christmas is a fabulous festive chance for Brits to relax and tuck into their turkey, but many businesses are working harder than ever as the holidays could be a major part of their business.

Online food website HungryHouse.co.uk, which allows users to get deliveries from local restaurants, is expecting order rates to soar by 60% over its usual weekday rates as Brits slumped in front of the telly decide to get some takeaway food in.

Meanwhile, other businesses say they are busier than ever. To get a sense of what it's like for small businesses in the middle of handling the Christmas rush, HuffPostUK caught up with Graham Milton, head of the Greenwich-based SBS Printing.

So Graham, how's business going this Christmas?

We've been busier than ever as we've been printing so many Christmas cards. Our average Christmas card order size is 100 cards for under £1 each with a 2 day turnaround.

How are you handling the rush?

We've modernised our copy shop and invested in a new fast turnaround digital press. We've been supplying schools, charities, at galleries and the residents of the local neighbourhood ordering personal printing such as wedding invites, dissertation printing, business cards and Christmas cards

How have you been preparing your business for Christmas?

We buy all of our Christmas stock in October and put it all out in the first week of December.

Luckily, most of our art supplies and gift sets are a good buy all year round so we never get stuck with anything we can’t sell.
