A mother was found dead in her west London home having been decapitated, a jury at the Old Bailey has heard. Tahira Ahmed was discovered by police in May at her house in Northolt after neighbours complained about a loud argument.
Both arms of the 38-year-old victim had been broken, and she had been stabbed as well as decapitated. Ms Ahmed's husband, 41-year-old Naveed Ahmed, has been charged with her murder and is due to appear in court in August. The couple had lived together for 14 years.
