Justin Timberlake was the first of the weekend’s headliners at V Festival on Saturday night, delighting fans with renditions of all his greatest hits.
After making his grand entrance, looking his usual suave self, JT kicked off with ‘Pusher Lover Girl’ before performing tracks including ‘My Love’, ‘Senorita’ and ‘Take Back The Night’.
Justin’s set also included ‘Cry Me A River’, with a touch of Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ thrown in.
While his on-stage banter isn’t exactly up there with the best of them, Justin’s shout out to his “brother from another red-headed mother” Ed Sheeran delighted everyone.
Justin also asked the crowd to raise their hands in the air for Michael Jackson, whose track 'Love Never Felt So Good' he was featured on earlier this year, before launching into a cover of ‘Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)’.
Obviously, his dance moves are (almost) as important as the tracks, and JT brought his game, proving he hasn’t forgotten anything from the N-Sync days.
Other acts to take to the stage on the first day of V Festival included All Saints, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and James Arthur, who took the opportunity to apologise to fans for his recent controversial behaviour.
