'The Beano' has arrived in Minecraft.
An official mod for the near-ubiquitous block-building survival game has launched with specific customisations for Dennis, Gnasher and even Walter the Softy.
Players can user catapults and traps to lay pranks for each other, and don the iconic red-and-black-stripe jumper worn by Dennis (and Minnie).
“The Beano has always been about great storytelling, imagination and creativity. Minecraft is a perfect match for us, providing an amazing sandbox for kids to take our characters, tell their own stories, prank their friends and build out Beanotown,” said DC Thomson’s Mark Cotton to the Guardian. “We’d love to expand the pranks and incorporate other Beano characters.”
Can we now request a Bash St Kids version? And perhaps even General Jumbo?Suggest a correction
