Conservative Campaign Headquarters has been having a bit of fun at the expense of Labour and The Guardian this morning, after the newspaper made an awkward mistake on the front page of its first edition.

The paper had intended to report Ed Miliband would use Labour's manifesto launch to present the party as "fiscally responsible". Unfortunately it reported that "Labour is now the fiscally irresponsible party" - somewhat reversing the message.

There but for the grace of God...
