Artificial Intelligence is widely considered to be one of the most important technological landmarks in our evolution, it's also considered as one of the most dangerous.
So dangerous in fact that Professor Stephen Hawking has warned that if we're not careful, we'll be ruled by the machines in just 100 years.
The renowned physicist was talking at the Zeitgeist 2015 conference in London and explained that while the creation of AI was probably inevitable, there must be steps taken to protect ourselves.
"Computers will overtake humans with AI at some within the next 100 years. When that happens, we need to make sure the computers have goals aligned with ours, our future is a race between the growing power of technology and the wisdom with which we use it.”
