Guy North

Managing Director, Freeview

Guy North took over as managing director of Freeview in June 2014, having previously been marketing communications director. He is responsible for developing the brand’s future strategy and leading integrated marketing and communications campaigns.

Prior to joining Freeview in July 2011, Guy was at Victim Support, where he transformed the brand’s positioning and identity and put in place the charity’s first five-year fundraising strategy.

His media expertise comes from over a decade at the BBC, working in several senior marketing roles, with responsibility for BBC Digital channels, BBC Sport and the BBC Television channel portfolio. His last eighteen months at the BBC were in BBC Worldwide, working on global franchise strategy.

Guy developed his commercial focus in marketing roles at Bass Brewers, increasing share and profit for the Worthington, Grolsch and Carling brands.

Guy is married with two children and has always been a sports fanatic. Golf is his latest pursuit.
