Tom Frere-Smith is Deputy Head of the Race, Faith and Cohesion Unit. Since joining in March 2009, Tom has specialised in research with migrant groups in longitudinal research. Recently, he has managed the UK SCIP Survey of Pakistani and Polish migrants for Essex University, the Identities and Diversity Survey for Oxford University, and the Refugees Survey for the Greater London Authority. Tom is also co-author of Ipsos MORI’s report Perceptions and Reality: Public attitudes to immigration.
