The Dingles are set to experience a rollercoaster of emotions in ‘Emmerdale’, when Belle is finally in hospital, ready to receive treatment for the return of her psychosis.
While Zak and Lisa do their best to remain positive, it’s Dr Bailey who realises the seriousness of the youngster’s mental illness, and when she’s sectioned he tells the family that he fears she may have schizophrenia.
When healthcare experts then tell the family they want to move Belle to a unit in Surrey, Lisa is left fuming, and decides that her daughter should be in a private clinic closer to home - but can she afford the expensive centre?
Determined to fund the £5,000-a-week facility, Lisa snaps at Joanie when the bank refuse a her loan request, and she then turns to Charity for help.
Chas then hands her the cash she needs, but Lisa is devastated to find Belle has already been moved when she returns to the unit.
Can she get her daughter back?
The return of Belle’s psychosis began earlier this year, when she faked a pregnancy in a bid to keep her lover Dr Bailey.
Her family were understandably aghast to learn about her baby lie, and Belle then went on the run, after her loved ones failed to notice her health problems had returned.
These ‘Emmerdale’ scenes air from Monday 12 September. Catch up on all the latest soap news and spoilers here.
