A dad-to-be has described why pregnancy is the "best education a man could be given" in a heartwarming tribute to his fiancée.
Josh Streeter was pictured holding back his fiancée's hair on Tuesday 12 April. He shared the snap on Facebook and explained she had been struggling with sickness throughout the entire day.
Giving advice to other expectant dads, Streeter said the best thing they can do is make their partner feel that it's "okay to cry, get mad and upset out of nowhere".
"Pregnancy is the best experience for me," he wrote in the post.
"It's taught me so much that I thought I already knew, it gives you frustrations, irritation, love, caring more than you ever have, patience and respect," Streeter continued.
"I now have a completely different point of view on pregnancy, it is so much work (but also heartwarming).
"Every second is worth it, it has literally taken my fiancée and took over her body with all the stress, aching and using the bathroom and sickness throughout the entire day.
"They hurt, they get so emotional and fatigued and they can't explain why, but that's where you come in.
"Make her feel that it's okay to cry, get upset, mad and laugh out of nowhere and make her feel like she is a damn queen.
"Because she is creating a life and that is so interesting and amazing to me."
Streeter told dads-to-be they should make their partners smile "every damn day" while their hormones are going crazy.
"She's gaining weight and she's thinking that it's making her less beautiful but the reality is that she's even more beautiful than ever," he continued.
"As a father and fiancé I can honestly say this is the best school you can attend. Be there every time she needs the daddy, be the damn father and love her and remind her how beautiful she is.
"I have a different view on pregnancy now that I'm experiencing it for myself. The best education a man could be given."
Streeter's post has been shared 37,000 times in ten days and received more than 17,000 comments - many from women 'tagging' their male partners to take note of it.
"Now that's what you call a real man, hands down," one woman wrote.
"For any woman who finds a man that's that understanding and caring I hope they hold on to him because that's a true keeper."
