Tony Blair’s former school in Edinburgh, Fettes College, has invited an internet pornography expert to teach at the school later this year.

The emphasis on porn addiction amongst students has risen due to an accumulation of scientific research into the effect it can have on their future, according to The Times.

Previous studies have found addiction to pornography is not dissimilar to the abuse of drugs and alcohol. The parts of our brain that handle our emotions, desires, drives and urges are all contained in the same place.

The government has also unveiled plans for age verification on pornographic websites, with a fine of £250,000 hanging over the heads of the sites that don’t monitor the ages of their visitors.
