Gone are the days when a Rubeneqsue derrière and an ample bosom meant that the only clothes on offer were shapeless dresses and wide-legged trousers. The Asos collection, aptly named Curves, has over 100 on-trend pieces that range in size from 20 to 26.
From much lauded camel knits to shearling coats, the collection references all the hot new season styles. We particularly love these two-toned cropped trousers and the grey ribbed maxi dress. And you can do no wrong with this cosy aviator jacket.
The care and attention that has obviously been lavished on this line, as well as Asos' recent success in this market, is testament to the fact that designing for the plus-size woman is not a gimmick to attract media attention (an accusation often levied in the past), but a necessary and viable service to a once overlooked market. And we couldn't be happier.
