The biggest names in fashion descended upon London's Savoy Hotel last night to attend the prestigious British Fashion Awards. From Victoria Beckham to Christopher Bailey, the fashion pack were out in force to celebrate the work of the most talented people in the industry.
Claudia Winkleman hosted the star studded event, while the likes of Claudia Schiffer, Bryan Ferry and Yasmin Le Bon were there to hand out the awards.
Amongst the winners were Nicholas Kirkwood, who won for Best Accessory Designer and Alexa Chung, winner of Best British Style. Mullberry pipped VB to the post for the Designer Brand award and MyDaily were happy to see Phoebe Philo for Céline win the highly anticipated Designer of the Year award.
Lara Stone received the prize for Model of the Year, but we also thought she deserved a prize for the best speech. She hoped that with recognition as the best model, "it might stop people thinking I'm Matt Lucas when I walk down the street with my husband".
Naomi Campbell gave a tearful speech on receiving the Special Recognition award for her 25 years working in fashion and her late friend Alexander McQueen was remembered in a beautiful film by Nick Knight when he won for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion.
It's no surprise that the stars were dressed to impress at one of the biggest nights in the fashion calendar. Naomi Campbell stole the show in a jewel embellished, velvet dress that Sarah Burton, creative director of McQueen, had made especially for the event. Daisy Lowe also got full marks from the fashion crowd in a breathtaking Elie Saab gown, while Emma Roberts looked lovely in Julien Macdonald.
The likes of Kelly Brook, Thandie Newton and Kimberly Walsh also graced the red carpet. Take a look below to see what they wore and watch this behind the scenes video for backstage gossip.
