A 20-month-old toddler has scared off a potential burglar at his grandmother's house.
Tiny Harvey Kent yelled 'MAN!' when he spotted the stranger prowling around his gran's back garden.
Jane Hanford, 45, then saw the man flee her property in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
The proud granny told reporters: 'Harvey's my little hero, I'm really proud of him. I'm going to take him out and spoil him. He stopped something which could have been quite horrible – although he probably doesn't even realise.
'I turned around and this man was standing there. It was scary. What's worrying is that Harvey had been out there just before and I thought my garden was secure.'
The police were called and scrambled a helicopter to search for the man, but he was not found.
