A mum has been questioned by social services after putting her two young children up for sale on the auction site eBay.
The mum, who has not been named, is said to have composed a 'lengthy sales pitch' for the two youngsters - who are both believed to be under ten - and placed it on the auction site.
When her listing was reported to the authorities in her home town of Geelong, Australia, the mum - who is in her 30s - said she had only done it for a joke.

The police are now involved and are looking to find the users who placed bids on the children.
