Pinkberry, the cult frozen yoghurt brand from LA is set to hit the UK in early August with its first Western European outpost in Selfridges, London.
With its huge cult and celebrity following stateside – famous fans of the low fat, low calorie frozen treat include Lady Gaga, David Beckham and Kim Kardashian - Pinkberry is the brand that caused 1000 parking tickets when it opened its LA store.
"Since its launch in West Hollywood in 2005, Pinkberry has quickly become a global brand and being in London is a key step in our growth," says Pinkberry CEO Ron Graves.
Selfridges buying manager Tanya McMullen adds: "Pinkberry is a dream brand. It has a wonderful concept, executed to the highest standard, is accessible to all and yet manages to create a level of aspiration and a celebrity following few brands manage to build in such a short period of time. We believe this is the perfect time to welcome Pinkberry to the UK and have every hope for an extraordinary response from our customers."
Those Selfridges Foodhall customers will be able to choose from six yoghurt flavours and 30 different toppings and you never know, they may just get a celebrity spot into the bargain.
Pinkberry is set to launch at Selfridges Foodhall, Oxford Street, London in early August.
