The funeral of Amy Winehouse will take place today. It will be a private occasion held for "family and close friends".
Those closest to Winehouse spoke of their grief yesterday, her father Mitch said: "Amy was about one thing and that was love, her whole life was devoted to her family and her friends and to you guys as well.
"We're devastated and I'm speechless but thanks for coming."
Her boyfriend, film director Reg Traviss, told The Sun newspaper: "I want to thank all those who are mourning the loss of Amy - such a beautiful, brilliant person and my dear love."
No details have been given about the location or time of the funeral, which Jewish law states has to take place as soon as possible.
However, The Telegraph reports the ceremony may take place at Golders Green Crematorium in north London at 3pm.
The Sun reported Winehouse's ex-boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil had been desperate to attend her funeral to say a last goodbye to the troubled singer, however, he has not been granted compassionate leave from Armley prison in Leeds - where he is serving 32 months for burglary and a firearm offence.
The singer's cause of death is still unknown, after an inquest was opened and adjourned. The hearing will resume on October 26.
