A 29-year-old man has become one of the country's youngest grandparents after his 14-year-old daughter gave birth to a little girl.
Youthful looking Shem Davies was even mistaken for the baby's dad by maternity nurses.
Baby Gracie was born to 14-year-old Tia. She was delivered by Caesarean section and weighed just 2lbs. Tia went on to celebrate her 15th birthday in the maternity unit.
The baby's proud granny, 30-year-old Kelly John, had Tia with Shem when she was just 15. They are no longer together, and Shem has a young baby with a new partner.
Tia has been dating Gracie's dad, 15-year-old Jordan Williams for 18 months. Her dad says Jordan is 'shaping up to be a decent young man.'
Mother and baby are said to be doing well in the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend, Wales.
